Spider Lake… no spiders, just tadpoles and fisherpeople and… fun!

Busy day yesterday – heading out to spots to relax. We visited the Errington Farmer’s Market and enjoyed music and friends (Kait’s children are adorable) and after eating a bean wrap, some cookies and popsicles, we headed off to our favourite lake in the area, Spider Lake.

Spider Lake is a lake that is made for kids… sandy beach, easy to wade in, buckets full of tadpoles to catch. The kidlets loved it and they actually swam. It wasn’t too cold and they frolicked for a few hours. It was not too busy there and it was great to see people in their float tubes and canoes fishing – fly fishing was hot yesterday.  One of the things I like most about this lake is that does not allow motorized thingies on it. Peaceful!
