With the weather so icky, don’t build an ark – visit the ARC!

The ARC at 1701 Powell Street is a a great place to check out for the Eastside Culture Crawl. It is on my list every year… I love a visit with Wendy D, photographer extraordinaire, seeing the colours in Martha Jablonski-Jones’ work and others. Now, one of the things I love there is the fact you never quite know what to expect… what music is playing, is there an installation, who are the door greeters and this year I truly and I mean truly, loved the elevator tour guide. This gentleman is a GEM! I wish I got his name – but I was entranced by his panty-hose and nose. He takes you up in the vintage elevator to the top floor so you can start at the top and work your way down the bottom of the building. He makes the start of the adventure so fun!

The Eastside Culture Crawl ends tomorrow – be sure to check it out. You certainly need to meet the man in tights at the ARC though.
