Get (h)appy. Vancouver Island travel App by Nanaimo travel writer!

I love Twitter. I have met some amazing people there. I am always so impressed with the creative folks there… and many of them are in my own backyard. Last week Jamie Moore contacted me because of my contests I have been doing. She asked if I could give-away one of her Vancouver Island Exploration Travel Guide iPhone apps. I said yes. I thought many of us would love to get our hands on this guide.

I have been talking a fair bit to Jamie and man, she is SMART. Some good laughs, I learned lots and we are going to get our kids together for a playdate. Friendships form quite quickly with the aide of social media.

Soooo… here is the contest. I have one of the apps available. Simply post or tweet about your favourite Vancouver Island destination. Please use the hashtag #twittergiver so I can see all the entries.  Contest ends Wednesday, May 18th at 1 pm. I am eager to learn more about our lovely Island. This contest is open to anyone who wants to participate.  Play along and let’s get (h)appy! Lots on info below about the app…. I would also suggest that if you do not win, purchase it. It is a great app.

Thanks!

Kim

  1. My favourite destination – wow! That’s a tough one. Like asking to chose your favourite child.

For this round though I’ll pick Gordon Bay Provincial Campground on Cowichan Lake for the many wonderful memories of family camping trips.
